DAMPAK PENGGUNAAN ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD TERHADAP TINGKAT KEPUASAN PASIEN: SEBUAH TINJAUAN LITERATUR

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Perkembangan informasi dan teknologi dalam layanan kesehatan menjadi salah satu inovasi yang signifikan. Perkembangan ini membuat layanan kesehatan dapat diakses dengan mudah dan cepat. Electronic health record (EHR) menjadi bagian integral dari perkembangan sistem informasi dan teknologi di lingkup kesehatan. Ketersediaan EHR memungkinan penyedia dan pengguna layanan kesehatan mengakses informasi kapan pun dan di mana pun berada. Pelayanan yang responsif akan meningkatkan kepuasan pasien terhadap layanan. Tujuan penelitian:Memberikan gambaran dan kesimpulan dari hasil tinjauan literatur tentang dampak penggunaan EHR terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien. Metode:Telaah literatur ini mengambil sepuluh artikel terpilih dari basis data daring EBSCOhost, PubMed, dan Google Scholar dari tahun 2018–2023dengan kata kunci EHR dan kepuasaan pasien. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode naratif-deskriptif. Hasil: Terdapat dampak positif dan hubungan signifikan antara penggunaan EHR terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien. Penggunaan EHR meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan, mempersingkat waktu tungggu pasien, meningkatkan akurasi dokumentasi pasien, meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan keamanan data pasien, serta mempermudah komunikasi antar-profesi kesehatan. Kesimpulan: Integrasi EHR dalam layanan kesehatan memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi pasien dan penyedia layanan kesehatan. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk melakukan penelitian tentang penggunaan EHR di negara berkembang dan di setting rawat inap.

ABSTRACT 

The development of information and technology in healthcare services has become one of the significant innovations. This development enables healthcare services to be accessed easily and quickly. electronic health record (EHR) has become an integral part of the development of information and technology systems in the healthcare scope. The availability of EHR enables healthcare providers and users to access information anytime and anywhere. Responsive services will enhance patient satisfaction with the services. Objective: To provide an overview and conclusion from a literature review on the impact of EHR usage on patient satisfaction levels. Method: This literature review yielded 10 (ten) articles from online databases EBSCO host, PubMed, and Google Scholar from 2018 to 2023 using the keywords electronic health record and patient satisfaction. The data were analyzed using a narrative-descriptive method. ResultFrom the analysis of ten articles, it was found that there is a positive impact and significant relationship between the use of EHR and patient satisfaction levels. The use of EHR enhances service efficiency, reduces patient waiting time, improves patient documentation accuracy, enhances the quality of service and patient data security, as well as facilitates communication among healthcare professionals. ConclusionThe integration of EHR in healthcare services provides significant benefits for both patients and healthcare providers. Further research is needed to study the use of EHR in developing countries and in inpatient settings.
